Nationally Recognized Blue Ribbon School (2006), Texas Business and Educational Coalition Honor Roll School Award (TBEC) for  four years.  Exemplary rating from the state every year the school has been open; District Clean Campus Award; Keep Plano Beautiful Award;  Texas Successful School Award; Reading and Math Achievement Awards; Gold Performance State Awards in all academic areas;  numerous Reflections, Science Fair and Chess Competition Awards; National Recognition for Word Master Competition; and numerous PTA awards including PTA Outstanding Unit (2007); PISD Teacher of the Year, STATE Runner Up Elementary Teacher of the Year (2009).

Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) which provides volunteer and financial support for our instructional program, including: Collin County Adventure Camp volunteers (5th Grade);  School-Based Improvement Committee (SBIC); volunteers for field day; field trips; publishing; family picnic; practical parenting workshops; cultural arts presentations; book fairs; yearbook; judges; special projects; 100% membership of staff; 7,000 documented volunteer hours; Kroger Card and Tom Thumb Card; 5th grade reception; newsletter; Y/O packet volunteers;  carnival; classroom parties; outreach projects; teacher appreciation activities; and library helpers.
