Achievements
Susan Geddes - PISD Excellence in Teaching Award & 2006-2007 PISD Elementary Teacher of the Year; Service Projects by Hunt Student Council – food drive for the Plano Santas for needy families in the Plano ISD (over 8,000 cans of food collected); Sister School of Meadows Elementary – school-wide drive for collection of garage sale items, collection of funds to send "Pat the Monkey" from the Outdoor Learning Center to an animal reserve in Florida; student art work chosen for inclusion in the PBK Architectural & Engineering 2008/2009 calendar; City Level 3rd Place winner in the primary division for grades 1 & 2 of the Fire Safety poster contest; Certificate of Recognition for participation in the 20th Annual Geography Action Poster Contest; one of eight district winners in the MLK Writing Contest; 3rd Place winner in the PISD Elementary Science Fair and Honorable Mention in the North Dallas Regional Elementary Science Fair; 1st place elementary school winner of the 2007/2008 Annual Recycling Incentive Program from the PISD's East Cluster.
