Thank You! ... Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano and THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano
Joining Plano ISD's 7,000 employees at their annual "back-to-school" convocation were approximately 10 sponsor representatives from Baylor Regional Medical Center and THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano.
Plano ISD School Board President Lloyd Jenkins, during his opening remarks, recognized sponsor representatives and told audience members, "We are most grateful to our sponsors for providing this opportunity for us. THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano has returned for the second year as a convocation sponsor. Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano has returned to support convocation for a third year."
The sponsorship by these outstanding medical facilities was made possible through a partnership with the Plano ISD Education Foundation.
2008 Plano ISD Teachers of the Year, Janet Napoli, who teaches at Skaggs Elementary School, and Amber Evans, who teaches at Williams High School, were featured in a video message to staff for the new school year, which was filmed at the sponsoring hospitals.
